Lone Star Speech and Debate
We are a member of the national homeschool league, Stoa Speech & Debate https://stoausa.org/. We teach Lincoln Douglas (cross examination) debate, along with various speech events, including interpretive, persuasive, limited prep, and extemporaneous speaking. Decorated Alumni (Stoa Hall of Fame Recipients and Stoa National Finalists) are incorporated into our coaching. We meet together during the school year on Wednesday afternoons at Christ Church Rockwall https://christchurchrockwall.org/.
Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level.

Schedule
We meet on Wednesdays September - May.
Speech: 1:30-2:30
Debate: 2:30-4:30
Cost: $200 per student for the year
JUNIORS (ages 6-12, $50 supply fee): 2:30-4:30
Great Artists Art projects, Van Cleave Science Experiments, Presentations, & Book Study. Juniors may attend Speech Class or bring quiet work for the Speech hour.
